   I’m Ellie, a professional London-based vegan chef. I decided to specialise in patisserie after completing my training at Leiths School of Food & Wine in 2015. I then spent over a year perfecting the craft as a member of the pastry team at The Dorchester Hotel (Mayfair). 

Whilst working in a high-end professional kitchen I learnt how to make all kinds of incredible desserts. However, as my awareness about the vegan movement and its values grew, I began to notice the unnecessary lack of exciting options available to vegan and free-from customers. As I began to experiment with vegan alternatives in my baking, I realised that I could rustle up ambitious vegan desserts without compromising on taste or quality. 

Recently, I became a vegan myself and no longer felt comfortable working in a kitchen that supported the consumption of animal products. That is why I decided to launch my own company, specialising in bespoke cruelty-free cakes for any occasion. 

I look forward to working with you to create something truly unique and personal for your special event. I design and craft each cake myself, using only high quality ingredients to ensure an exemplary product and service. I’ve always fancied myself a bit of a closet super-hero and after all, isn’t an apron just a cape on backwards?!
